We are pleased to announce that graduate student Nadia Escalante will participate in Writing in the Galleries, a creative event organized by the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. This session takes place on January 17 at 11:15 am and offers an inviting space for writers of all levels to engage in an informal exploration of the Museum’s galleries as a source of creative inspiration.
The session is designed to foster creativity through a collaborative and reflective process. Participants will begin with a brief conversation and writing prompts inspired by the artworks currently on display. Following this introduction, there will be dedicated time to write independently within the gallery spaces before the group reconvenes to share and discuss their work.
