The Department is pleased to announce that Professor Juan Pablo Lupi will serve as the next Faculty Director of the Graduate Center for Literary Research (GCLR) at UC Santa Barbara.
The GCLR welcomes students working in literature, art, film, and theory, providing a dynamic space for graduate students across the humanities to engage in meaningful intellectual exchange. It encourages interdisciplinary conversation and nurtures innovative scholarly projects.
We look forward to the energy and vision Professor Lupi will bring to this role and to the continued growth of the Center under his leadership.
