politics of conflict

Join us from Thursday, May 16 at 3:00pm to Friday, May 17 at 2:00pm in the UCen SB Mission Room for the 8th Annual UC Comparative Iberian Studies Symposium: Politics of Conflict.

The Comparative Iberian Studies working group, which brings together faculty members representing different UC campuses, presents the  8th UC Comparative Iberian Studies Conference: “Politics of Pluralism”. The two-days public conference will focus on how peninsular literary and cultural studies might be reimagined – and reinvigorated – from an interdisciplinary perspective. Our goals are to facilitate discussion across Iberian cultures between group members, to stimulate dialogue with colleagues, students, and California-based Iberian-American community organizations, and to model a form of peninsular studies that is interdisciplinary, multilingual and multifocal.
