Bio:
Azucena Trincado Murugarren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Philology, with a Minor degree in Basque Studies from the University of Basque Country. She got a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), with the thesis Tejedoras de redes, tejedoras de vidas. La Residencia de Señoritas y las redes transatlánticas del exilio. She has also worked as a fellow-researcher with Dr. Pura Fernández in the Spanish CSIC. Trincado’s main research topics are based on Contemporary Literature, within an interdisciplinary approach from Feminist Studies. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Hispanic Literatures from UCSB in 2024 and is currently a Lecturer at Binghampton University, NY.
