This quarter’s HFA Speaks will be celebrating UCSB’s foreign language courses as a gateway to global culture, allowing students to engage with the world. Sitting on the panel will be Magda Campo from Religious Studies, Sabine Frühstück from East Asian Languages & Cultural Studies, Laura Marqués-Pascual from the Department of Spanish & Portuguese, and HFA intern and moderator Jackie Jauregui.
