Bio

Patrícia Lino's ongoing interests comprise Brazilian and Portuguese literatures, Brazilian culture, interdisciplinary arts, Classical antiquity, philosophy, and contemporary poetry.

Lino's work concerns the interdisciplinarity of poetry and the visual arts, starting from the Brazilian Modernism up to contemporary visual poetry. It is her intention to bring to light a new methodology of interpretation through the works of Oswald de Andrade, Blaise Cendrars, Tarsila do Amaral, Irmãos Campos, Décio Pignatari, or Wlademir Dias-Pino, as well as a most needed study involving the dialogue between poetry and visual arts.
